Class overview
During junior and senior year at CHS, students will be tasked with reading novels, short stories, poetry/plays and articles which they will then learn how to analyze, and write about these readings in a variety of essay styles.
Along with reading and writing, students will be tasked with researching and creating a variety of presentations to share with their peers.

With a love for Maine deep in my bones, I've been a teacher for nearly 20 years!
I am passionate about reading and writing, instilling these values in my students as they prepare to venture into the world after high school.
My goal has always been, and continues to be, fostering life-long learners.
