A one-day seminar to create a strategy for successful change.

A seminar for leaders and aspiring leaders in education, exploring how a range of change management theories can be used to implement positive, sustained changes in schools. You will learn to identify the drivers and barriers to change and focus on using positive leadership to lead change that makes a difference.
Outline content
· The psychology of change - changing behaviours in ourselves and others
· Frameworks for organisational development – accelerators for change
· Leading and sustaining the team through the change process
By examining theories and models of change management, you will develop a deeper understanding of the process of change, as well as the skills and strategies to put yourself in the driving seat to deliver on their plans.

This list is not exhaustive and schools are ever changing environments. This seminar is about giving you a better understanding of how to work with your team to create a coherent approach to implement effective changes to meet the needs of the school or setting.

Carol White is a qualified and experienced Primary School teacher, SENCO and University Lecturer. She has also worked in the voluntary sector and now works with schools to bring about meaningful change, especially in becoming more inclusive. She still works in a Primary School and has her feet firmly on the ground in the current climate.
With many years of experience in the voluntary sector and as a primary school teacher, Richard White has a wealth of experience. He is currently launching History Into Schools, using artifacts and costumes to create a hands on experience for pupils of all ages.
