Responsibilities:

• Various maintenance services:

  • • Caulking

    • Plumbing/leak repair

    • Minor electrical work

    • Pressure washing

    • Painting

    • General and bulk trash cleaning

    • Landscaping

    • Parking lot/street sweeping

    • Installing signs

    • Changing ceiling tiles

    • Vacancy cleanouts

    • Property inspections

• Driving company vehicle

• Managing company credit card

• Paperwork/using phone apps

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in the above services

• Active driver license and clean driving record

• Availability to work early/late and/or on weekends as necessary

• Ability to work on ladders/roofs and near retention ponds

• Ability to lift 100 lbs or more

• Willingness to work outside in all kinds of weather and come in contact with trash

We are currently seeking our next Porter.

This is the perfect position for anyone looking for a dependable full-time job, who is independent and doesn't mind working with their hands and getting dirty. If you have experience in Janitorial / Custodian work, landscaping, maintenance, housekeeping, or maybe you just like to clean, then this is a perfect opportunity for you! Portering is essentially janitorial work for the exteriors of buildings/properties, as opposed to the interiors. Our properties are mostly commercial/retail shopping centers.

Your day to day will look like:

• Spending your days outside, rain or shine, picking up litter, wiping/cleaning surfaces such as windowsills, trash can lids, benches, etc.

• Using a backpack blower

• Changing trash bags in outdoor trash cans, cleaning out dumpster enclosures, breaking down boxes, lifting/moving heavy pallets, furniture, etc., and doing other building maintenance work as needed

• You will drive a company pickup truck to and from job sites

• May also be required to do some work on ladders/roofs or near retention ponds. Proper safety gear and training will be provided

The base schedule is 6:30am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.

This is a driving position. Applicants must have an active driver's license and a clean driving record to be considered for this position.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with the work ethic necessary to operate on their own for most of the day. Experience is not required.
