The above sensitivity estimates for each channel are for: (1) an emission line with a FWHM of 100 km/s observed between sky OH lines in 0.6'' seeing, (2) surface brightness sensitivities for a FWHM of 50 km/s in a 1.0 square arcsecond aperture, and (3) continuum sensitivities corresponding to the median SNR across the band in a 2-spectral pixel resolution element in 0.6" seeing. The continuum and emission line sensitivities assume point sources with no slit losses.
