401(K) Retirement Savings Plan
Administered & managed through John Hancock, the 401K Retirement Plan is a great way to make Traditional (pre-tax) and/or Roth (after-tax) contributions for your future! If you have 401K funds through previous employers, you may elect to rollover those funds into your 401K account. New employees are eligible to begin contributing on the first of the month following their start date. We match 50% of salary deferrals up to 4% of compensation per pay period for eligible full-time employees after 1 year of service or after 1,000 hours of service for eligible part-time employees.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered to employees at no cost. Carnegie Learning employees and their EAP dependents (see below) have confidential and free 24/7/365 assistance access to address many of life’s concerns, including work, family, finances, and legal services through the Unum Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Unum’s EAP services are available to all eligible employees, their spouses or domestic partners, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law.
Legal Service
LegalShield connects participants with board-certified, state-licensed law firms for legal protection around the clock and around the country. Participating employees can take advantage of services for creating a last will and testament, power of attorneys, mortgage document review and many more.The cost for this benefit is paid, in full, by the employee via payroll deductions.
Pet Insurance
Carnegie Learning offers pet insurance through Nationwide. Nationwide allows employees to protect their furry companions with 2 plan options: a Basic Protection plan or a Protection + Wellness plan. Participants also have 24/7 access to a veterinary professional via phone or web chat.
Armadillo
Carnegie Learning offers access to a subscription-based protection plan for home appliances through Armadillo. Armadillo is here for you when major systems and appliances break down in your home. From kitchen and laundry appliances to heating/cooling, plumbing, and electric, Armadillo covers the cost of repairs or replacements and ensures it's done swiftly and hassle-free. Think of it like healthcare for your home.
Remote Work Equipment
We want every member of our team to have what they need to do great work. Equipment availability varies by role type to make sure we’re providing the right support for each position.
Temporary Employees
Temporary employees receive the same essential equipment package as full-time employees. This includes a laptop, monitor, keyboard/mouse combo, and any software required for the role. Our goal is to set you up with the tools you need to contribute effectively during your time with us.
Part-Time Employees
Part-time roles do not receive company-provided equipment. These positions are designed with a high degree of schedule flexibility and typically use personal devices, but we will provide you with any software required for your new role. If a position ever requires specialized tools or access, your manager will ensure you have guidance on how to get what you need.
