Don't feel like you have to complete EVERY practice assignment, but I would at least try 2-3 problems to ensure that you understand after each video. These will not be graded, they are just for you to see if you are understanding the concepts! In the end, you have to demonstrate that you understand these concepts in the final project, which is all due Friday, May 11, 2018! To be sure you have time for the final project, I would make sure you have topic one covered by around May 3, 2018.
**If you choose to take the quiz over topic 1, it is due Friday, May 4, 2018.

These are the mini skills that you will need to know how to do for the quiz and project. After watching each video, I would try a few problems to check your understanding. I also have a paper version that you can try and check your answers if you prefer. If you would like to take the optional quiz to improve your quiz average, I would recommend the Google Form Practice Quiz to make sure you know what you are doing first!
Project Ideas
Project Ideas
Come up with a statistical question and get it approved by Mrs. Childers. This will be the focus of your project. You can either conduct a survey on this topic or find real life data to use (obviously this depends on the question you are trying to answer). Here are some topic ideas to get you started, but feel free to do any topic you like!
- Basic survey topic ideas (Page 1)
- If tying one-variable and two-variable stats together, think of a possible topic that could cause/correlate with these.
- Timed/accuracy experiment (cup stacking, puzzle solving, throwing darts, shooting hoops, etc.)
- Business Analysis (Snow Cone Hut)
- Build something and test its effectiveness (Paper Airplane)
