This year we will learn about Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, and Engineering how they are all interconnected. Students will also begin to recognize important concepts that appear and repeat themselves throughout the course - regardless of topic. Some examples of repeating concepts include “patterns”, “structure and function”, and “systems” . Most importantly, we will be "doing science" by applying environmental principles, engineering skills, technology, mathematics, and inquiry to construct models that explain the concepts learned in class.
