Middle School

Carmel Christian School

Each year, Middle School students create an "Imago Dei" project. Each grade level has a different focus while keeping the inherent qualities of this theme. The foundational truth of the project is that we are created in the image of God in all aspects and should emulate Him in action, grace and deed. Everything around us, what we see, hear and do, will influence who we are. Therefore, we should guard these things wisely.

This year, students drew a silhouette self portrait. After answering a series of questions, they filled the silhouette with words, verses or personal letters based on those answers. The background was filled with visual reminders of things that are important to them at this time in their lives. The "Imago Dei" is one of several projects featured in this gallery.
