Mrs. Boer - Band & Orchestra Director

Hi Everyone!  

This is my 20th year teaching at Valley and every year has been exciting!  I am a graduate of Charleston Southern University in Charleston, SC.  I was born in Ohio, grew up in South Carolina, and spent a few years in Georgia before moving to California with my husband and family.  My husband is a Kelly School and Army & Navy alumnus.  Our daughter, Caroline is a junior at Cal Poly SLO, our daughter Hailey is a 9th grade CHS Lancer, and Audrey is a 6th grade Valley Viking! We are a dog loving family with a German Shepherd named Bowie!

VMS and the students and teachers that make up the school are excellent!  The VMS Instrumental Program is an award-winning, fantastic program that continues to grow.  We have fun making music and everyone is invited to learn to play an instrument and forever become a part of the VMS Band & Orchestra Family .   See you soon!
