What is the Sage Creek Genius Project?
The Sage Creek Genius Project is a year-long, student-chosen, passion project.
Students are invited to choose their projects, execute their plan, and then reflect on their experience in a TED-Style Talk presented to peers and community members.
Students' projects fulfill three criteria: passion, impact, and challenge.
We believe...
That all of our students are capable of achievement. Even more, we believe that all of our students have a passion that drives them.
All Sage Creek students will use their passions and interests to innovate while making a positive impact on a community. Over the course of two years, students will create a product of their choice and present their findings, failures, and successes at an all-school, all-city showcase Symposium.
We believe that when we empower our students to take ownership of their learning, they can accomplish great things.

Impact
Whether it's serving our community through outreach, working to improve our environment, or carrying out small acts of kindness, our students can make an impact on our world in many ways, big or small. It all starts with an idea.
Challenge
When we challenge ourselves to think outside of the box, we learn and grow in new, significant ways. Our students are empowered to adapt and innovate as they identify needs in their community and address those needs.
Passion
Our students are so much more than their transcripts. The Genius Project is an opportunity for students to pursue their passions in a meaningful way, reimagining opportunity in education and reinvigorating curriculum.
