I grew up in Torrance, CA and I currently live in Carlsbad with my husband John, our daughter Leila, and our two dogs Billie Joe and Eddie. I love to spend time with my family and friends. You can usually find me at home walking the dogs, at the gym, shopping,  or at school! I love teaching and I can’t wait to meet my new students and their families each year! 

I graduated from SDSU (GO AZTECS!) with a BA in Liberal Arts/Education and then moved to San Francisco, where I received my teaching credential from SFSU. I later earned my Masters degree in Administration from National University. I’ve taught grades 2-5 in LAUSD, SDUSD, and the best… CUSD!
