My name is Mrs.Menker. I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher. This is my fourth year teaching first grade at Calavera Hills.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, going to Padres games and walking at the beach.
I am looking forward to a great year!
My approach to teaching is all about supporting the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—while making learning fun and engaging. I believe in creating a positive, interactive environment where curiosity thrives. I love involving families to build a strong, supportive community. Together, we help students grow and reach their full potential, both in and out of the classroom.
Family involvement is so important for a child’s success since parents are their first teachers! I’d love for parents to volunteer and get involved in the classroom. This creates a strong team between home and school. When we work together, we can better support your child.
