Homework

Daily Reading (15-20 minutes):

• • Reading Response will be done in class on Fridays based on in home reading.

Achieve 3000 Article:

• • On each Friday, one Achieve article will be assigned that students must read and respond to at home before the following Friday.

  • At home, the tabs that are required include: Article, Activity, and Thought Question (the thought question should be 1-2 paragraphs) unless otherwise specified.

  • Achieve article activity MUST be passed with a 75% or higher, or another article needs to be done and passed.

  • Achieve can count as daily reading on the day it is completed

Daily Math:

• • Every day, except Fridays, your child will have a math assignment due the next day.

  • The day before (sometimes a few days before) a test, there will be an online study guide/practice test to begin studying for the final chapter test.

  • On test days, please go over and correct any problems that were missed.

Fun Friday:

• • All homework and classwork must be completed to participate.

Homework should not be a long, drawn out process. If your child is struggling please don’t hesitate to contact me so we can work toward a solution together.

If there is an occasional reason that your child CANNOT complete a homework assignment, please shoot me a quick email explaining the circumstances. :)
