We hope this message finds you and your family well. While staying home from school can certainly feel like an adjustment, we think there is opportunity to use this time to honor your inner learner by pursuing new endeavors. After all, you can learn a lot in three weeks! A new skill, a second (or third) language, coding, art, an instrument. You can explore new topics, read new books (perhaps even write a book!), take virtual tours all over the planet. This is also a great time to focus on goals related to all aspects of health -- the sky’s the limit (unless you choose to learn more about space).
How does it work?
In short, we recognize these three weeks as an opportunity to learn something new and/or develop a new interest, which is why we’re hosting the three-week learning challenge. You pick something to learn and keep us posted on how it’s going and how you approach learning something new in the digital age. You can join us and fellow students on this Google Classroom where we’ll continue to post resources, touch base on your progress, and encourage fellow students in their pursuit of learning. Remember that you do not have to “master” a topic, simply embark on something new and spend a little time each day getting better at it.
