Students have the opportunity to earn up to 7 credits a year. If students need to make up credits, they have the opportunity to retake it in summer school OR in credit recovery (0 hour 7:10-8:10am or 8th hour 4:00-5:00pm). Carlsbad High School offers Honors & AP classes for most core classes and a few electives. Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to take online Dual Credit Classes offered through SENMC, where they will receive both college and high school credits.
