Carey High School

I want to welcome you to Carey High School, Home of the Blue Devils.  At CHS, you will find an experienced and motivated, highly qualified staff with a vision to foster excellence, facilitate a desire to learn, and develop productive citizens.  Our students are immersed in a comprehensive approach to learning and social development that includes a strong academic program with many Honors-level courses and a broad selection of electives; a diverse artistic component with options to be involved in music, art, drama, and multimedia; and athletic opportunities that allow students to participate in a total of 13 Varsity sports throughout the school year.  Furthermore, our school features a wide array of active extracurriculars that includes FFA, DECA, Ohio Scholars' Association, Drama Club, stage productions, Student Council, and Teen Leadership Corps just to name a few.

Our mission at Carey High School is to assist our students in finding pathways to one of the 3 E's:  Enrollment, Enlistment, or Employment.  We strive each day to promote a culture of learning that does not stop at the schoolhouse door, but extends into the community and the greater world in which our students live by encouraging them through S2R2K (Show Up, Step Up, Reach Up, Rise Up, Keep Up).  It is our hope that we instill in every student a sense of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Development, and Effort that helps them become a responsible, productive citizen of our community, our state, our country, and our world.
