Mr. Mershman’s Class Procedures

Beginning of Period

1. Be here before the tardy bell
2. Have a seat
3. Have your homework out and ready to be checked or turned in
4. Get started on any problems that are on the board
5. I reserve the right to add to this if need be

End of Period

1. You will work on math or something else until the end of the period
2. You will remain seated until I dismiss you
3. You will leave your area around your desk the way you found it (clean) no paper or anything else left behind (this room is not your locker)
4. Make sure you put your calculator away if you borrowed one from me
5. Leave in a calm and orderly fashion act like adults not junior high kid.
6. I reserve the right to add to this if need be

Mr. Mershman’s Classroom Rules

1. Follow directions the 1^st time they are given (Ask question immediately if you are unsure)
2. Do not talk while the teacher is talking
3. Respect all others in the classroom this is a Must

Things You Need For Class Everyday

1. Supplies
2. Any work that needs to be turned in

Discipline Procedures

Disciplinary action will depend on the severity of the behavior

• 1^st offense: verbal warning
• 2^nd offense: demerit
• 3^rd offense: teacher detention

4^th referral to office and a write-up (maybe a phone call to a parent)
