We have exciting new opportunities coming in 2026! We will be holding two different productions for dancers at different stages of their performing career.
In the past 10 years we have raised over $100,000 for Carey Right Track Foundation and Helping Hands Across The Sands. Come and join us as we make a difference in the lives of others.
Our pre-professional production for 2026 will be
CINDERELLA
Cinderella was originally written by a French author, Charles Perrault. There has been many versions written throughout history in different cultures. In the 20th century, the Cinderella tale inspired a ballet by Sergei Prokofiev. We will be adapting our own rendition of the Cinderella tale to create a magical masterpiece that takes you on a journey through the magic of love.
Auditions for our experienced dancers will be held on Sunday 15th February 2026 at 4.00pm with call-backs for successful dancers on Saturday 21st February 2026, 4.00 – 6.30pm.
Performance dates -There are 4 performances in early October over the 9th,10th and 11th.
Rehearsals for this performance will be on Saturday afternoons from 4Ω.00pm onwards. Dancers are only asked to attend rehearsals when their scene is being choreographed.
Experienced dancers age 7+ are welcome to audition.
Dancers may be given the opportunity to learn lifts and will work with dancers from all over Perth to create this fabulous performance. Not all dancers will be needed for all rehearsals. I only request dancers to be present if it is likely I will be working on their part/scenes. There will be more rehearsals in the lead up to the production depending on how we are going, there are also holiday rehearsals that differ from Saturday rehearsals.
I understand that dancers come with other commitments already, please do inform me if a dancer cannot make certain rehearsals. I am looking for dancers with good classical technique, quick to learn choreography, expressive acting skills and a good positive attitude. I will consider dancers as young as 7yrs old if they have great technique and stage presence. Each year we have a fabulous time, make amazing friends and raise money for our two charities whilst putting on a fabulous performance. 100% of all profits go towards these two charities. There is a small once off fee of $150, this helps cover costumes and running costs.
Auditions are to be held in the Auditorium at Carey Baptist College, Harrisdale with call-backs and rehearsals in the upstairs dance room. Dancers are welcome to audition for both productions.

Little Red Riding Hood
This intriguing tale was originally written by Charles Perrault and later adapted by Grimms Brothers. We look forward to bringing this exciting storyline to life.
Auditions for our amateur/junior performance will be on Sunday 8th February at 3.00pm
performance is on the 27th June 2026.
All age groups are welcome to audition with rehearsals on Saturday afternoons from 3.00 -4.00pm. This performance is great for beginner dancers with a few years dance experience, dancers with limited classical technique or limited stage experience we encourage to also audition. Dancers are welcome to participate in both productions. I am looking for stage presence and a willingness to participate at these auditions.

HELPFUL AUDITION TIPS!
Please bring water with you to auditions and all rehearsals. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a few forms regarding dancers information and permission forms. Your dancer will be required to wear a number which will be pinned to the leotard. Your dancer should wear something they feel comfortable and confident in. Dance attire of any kind is acceptable; however a leotard is preferred. Please wear appropriate ballet shoes. If en pointe, please have them ready to go in case you are asked to put them on. If you cannot make either audition, please let me know to arrange a video submission.
VOLUNTEERS
In 2026 we are looking to grow our team of volunteers. We would love help in the area of advertising productions and possibly organising production t-shirts which can be made available for our cast to purchase.
