Some people look at Geometry as just a year off between Algebra I & Algebra II to learn about things like cubes, quadrilaterals, volume, and area. While we do study those things, we take a little time to step back and really learn the foundations of mathematics. We start simple with just a single point, then move our way out from there all the way to three dimensional mathematics. We really become Math Lawyers, in a way, as we argue why certain theorems work, building a case with previously attained evidence. It's actually a great class for students who may have a career in law in their future!

If you have any questions, please contact me via email (jdefauw@cardinalmooney.org). If you're a parent, I'd be happy to set up a phone call conference or meet in person. My phone extension at Cardinal Mooney is 34.
