Our class studies one BIG word every week. We do this inquiry-style, where students discover the meaning by guessing and honing guesses from various context clues throughout the week. So no fair asking your parent to look up the meaning. 😃 Words will be revealed each Friday.

quandary (n)-- a state of questioning/perplexity

advocate (n)-- a person who speaks up to support

aspiration-- a goal, ambition, or desire

nestle-- to settle in snuggly

innumerable-- too many to count

serene-- calm and peaceful

prolific-- producing a lot, fruitful 

strive-- to make great efforts to achieve or obtain 

illuminate-- make visible, help clarify, light up 

disgruntled-- dissatisfied, grumpy, upset

incredulous-- amazed

tenacious -- very determined to do/accomplish something

bustling -- to have a lot of busy, noisy, energetic activity

diminish -- to reduce, to fade
