At Carden, I teach technology to Kindergarteners through Fifth Grade. Keyboard homework is assigned to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders using www.cardenconejo.typingclub.com, and special projects are done throughout the year in the computer lab for all grade levels. The students have fun learning multimedia skills, word processing and desktop publishing skills, database and spreadsheet skills, and coding.
I grew up in Southern California and went to Loyola Marymount University where I met my husband and also received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Philosophy. We have three kids: a 2021 Norwich University graduate (Master's Degree in Diplomacy with a concentration in International Conflict Management) and currently a policy and coalition director for United Ways of California, a 2020 graduate from the United States Air Force Academy (BS in Economics) and currently a Captain flying the KC135 military aerial refueling tanker aircraft, and a recent college graduate with a Bachelors of Music in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Aside from my family, I enjoy traveling and love anything Disney.
