“Sing, then. Sing, indeed, with shoulders back, and head up so that song might go to the roof and beyond to the sky... until life and all things living are become a song.”
― Richard Llewellyn, How Green Was My Valley (1997, Touchstone)

About me
I have been teaching music for 10 years. This includes choir, orchestra, band, guitar, piano, percussion, private voice, and music appreciation classes. This is my third year at Carbon High. I taught at Water Canyon High School in southern Utah for 4 years and previously I was at Mont Harmon Middle teaching band. I have also taught drama and have been the music director or assistant music director for 6 shows at Carbon High- Crazy for You, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Addams Family, and Anastasia.
I am happily married to Austin (for 8 years) and we have one daughter, Raegan, who is 3 years old and another little girl on the way. In my spare time, I love to hike, watercolor, be with family, and work on house projects Joanna Gaines style.
I love teaching and am so excited to be your teacher!
