CapX Team Submits Charter Application (1/2020)

Lanette and Alison represented the whole CapX Family in proudly submitting the CapX application to the DC Public Charter School board on January 9, 2020. The application reflects over 400 hours of classroom experience piloting the CapX model of project-based, place-based learning with DC students.

The application is publicly available through the DC Public Charter School website.

Next steps for the team include a Capacity Interview in late January and a public hearing on February 24, 2020.

Lanette Dailey-Reese Selected as Camelback Fellow (12/2019)

Camelback Ventures offers a six-month fellowship that supports the development of both the leader--Lanette--and the venture--CapX. Lanette's journey as a Camelback Fellow kicks off in late January with a multi-day learning session with other education leaders and entrepreneurs in New Orleans, Louisiana.
