Ling began her real estate journey assisting a residential team with administrative bookkeeping and research, but utilized her time during the mandated lockdowns to enroll at the Ontario Real Estate College and obtain her own license. Graduating with an A+ average, she joined a brokerage and simultaneously discovered the world of commercial real estate. Through dedication and hard work, she excelled—earning leadership and recognition awards while proliferating her expertise and cognizance—enabling clients to make knowledgeable, fruitful decisions regarding their real estate needs. After careful consideration of brokerage options, she has now made a strategic move to Royal LePage Integrity Commercial, where she believes she is best equipped to represent her clients’ needs and where she continues to make exceptional advances in commercial real estate.
Emigrating from Malaysia as a child, Ling has since traveled to many developing countries in her adult life, fostering a deep appreciation for this spectacular country and its residents. Benefiting from both Indian and Chinese heritage, and enriched by experience communicating with diverse ethnicities through her travels, she converses easily with non-native English speakers. A proud woman of Asian heritage, Ling embodies the social and ethical values that empower Canadians, expressing them through hard work, integrity, and outstanding client relations. An active member of her community—participating in local events and organizing her own charity fundraiser—she is tremendously grateful to channel that community focus into commercial real estate, helping her beloved city grow and bloom.
Having grown up in Ottawa, Ling studied Environmental Sciences at Carleton University and worked in hospitality from a young age, cultivating a strong focus on customer service and community—qualities she directly applies to her real estate clients. Passionate about commercial leasing and sales, she continues to leverage her abilities and translate her knowledge to exceed her clients’ expectations. Currently serving the community as a commercial real estate representative and entering her second year as Co-Chair of the Commercial Services Division of the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB), Ling is proud to have built a strong reputation and career in just over four years, in a field with over 4,000 licensed professionals. She has already earned national distinctions including the 2024 CoStar Impact Award and the 2025 Canadian Choice Award.
In her free time, Ling is an avid scuba diver and snowboarder who enjoys ATVing and camping in provincial parks. Spending time in nature with family and friends is never something Ling takes for granted: “I’m truly fortunate to live in Ottawa—a perfect mix of metropolitan city surrounded by such raw, beautiful, rugged nature. You can do anything here!”
