Hi, I'm Michell or Michy as my friends and family call me - pronounced mih-CHEE.
Clients know me as a passionate dance and portrait photographer but I am also a proud mother to a talented teenage girl (who is a competitive dancer) and a hard-working adult son. As a photographer, I bring a unique perspective to my work, drawing inspiration from my experiences as a mother, a former recreational dancer and the joy I find in capturing the beauty and artistry of dance and families.

Dance has always held a very special place in my heart. I danced as a child through my teen years and now am a dance mom. Being a mother to a young dancer has only deepened my appreciation for the art form. I understand the dedication, discipline, and sheer joy that dance brings into our lives. Through my photography, I strive to capture the grace, elegance, and emotion that dancers convey with their movements, freezing those breathtaking moments in time.

As a mother, I also recognize the importance of documenting the growth and milestones of our children and family alike. From their first steps to their performances on stage, every stage of their journey is worth celebrating.
