Retreat for Graduating Students
The Office of Student Affairs and Services, CapSU Multi-Faith Services, and the Library Services staff facilitated the 2024 Recollection for Graduating Students on May 22, 2024 at the CapSU-Pontevedra Gymnasium for Catholic Graduating Students and FADC Hall for Non-Catholic.

All Those Memories... A Photo Exhibit of CapSU History
The Capiz State University (CAPSU) organized a public photo exhibit on March 19-23, 2024 at the 2nd Floor of SM City Roxas in partnership with the Roxas City Government, Ang Panublion Museum, and SM City Roxas.
The said exhibit is titled “All Those Memories” and provides the exhibition visitors a brief history of the University – from the early years until its official universityhood. Moreover, it features the first four presidents of the University since its conversion and the significant personalities whom are considered as the prime movers of the institution.
Dr. Editha Alfon, SUC President, led the program attended by the key officials, faculty, staff and librarians from various CAPSU campuses and satellite colleges. In her speech, Dr. Alfon seized the opportunity to recognize and expressed immense gratitude to the then-lawmakers of the Province of Capiz who lobbied for the passage of the conversion law.
Roxas City Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas, represented by Ms. Cheryl Anne del Rosario, head of the Ang Panublion Museum expressed her profound gratitude on the partnership between this University and the museum on various arts and cultural activities and programs for the past years and even up to date.

In celebration of Love Month, CapSU Pontevedra Library spread the love with faculty and students by giving heart balloons.

CapSU 5th University Book Fair
The Capiz State University (CAPSU) hold its 5th University Book Fair on January 10-11, 2024 at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus Library. This book fair is an annual activity intended to give the faculty members and students of this University to select books and recommend it to the library, that will in turn purchase it and add to its collection.
Dr. Susan O. Dangan, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. In her message, she expressed her gratitude to the organizers and participating bookstores and suppliers. Participating bookstores and suppliers:

Dr. Marianne A. Escleto presented the research entitled “Library Attendance Monitoring System" at the 41st Year-End Research Development and Extension Faculty Symposium held last November 14, 2023 at Capiz State University, Pontevedra Campus . The study was co-authored by Mr. Alvin D. Bangud, Marianne A. Escleto, Rafaelyn P. Dorado, Reymund F. Eribal and Verjeam D. Alba. This project is a monitoring system that is used to record attendance of library users, track in real-time library space utilization and generate required reports.
