Classroom & LAB

The classroom and laboratory are the foundation of agricultural education, providing students with the knowledge and technical skills needed for success in college, careers, and life. Through hands-on instruction, laboratory investigations, industry certifications, and real-world projects, students explore topics ranging from animal and plant science to leadership, agribusiness, and natural resources. Every course is designed to connect classroom learning with practical experiences that prepare students for the ever-evolving agriculture industry.

DEPARTMENT AWARD WINNERS

The Department Award is the highest honor presented by the Coopersville Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Program. Each year, a graduating senior is selected based on outstanding academic achievement in agriculture courses, completion of the greatest number of agriculture classes, an exemplary Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and exceptional leadership demonstrated through active participation in FFA and agricultural activities.
