Meet Miss Welch!

Kylie Welch is beyond excited to be a member of the Esencia community! Kylie grew up in Modesto, California and then attended UC Irvine to receive her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior with a minor in Educational Studies. She also received her Teaching Credential and Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from UC Irvine. Prior to this year, Kylie taught in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. She is committed to cultivating a positive and caring classroom community where each and every student is valued and celebrated. As a lifelong learner, Kylie is always seeking new and innovative ways to best help her students thrive. Outside of the classroom, Kylie enjoys reading a good book, watching movies, spending time with her family in northern California, and going out for ice cream with friends. With an extensive background in dance, she also enjoys taking dance classes and watching performing arts shows. Kylie is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at Esencia and is looking forward to helping each student grow!
