Mise en place: French term meaning "everything in its place"! This is the focus of the Culinary Arts class at SCHS. Beyond learning basic cooking skills, culinary terms and preparing some delicious dishes...preparation and organization is paramount to success in the kitchen (and everywhere!).
The skills learned in this class translate beyond the kitchen and prepare students for life in the real world.
