When?

• Dec. 2 - Choir Area Concert at 6pm in the CVHS Performing Arts Theater

• Dec. 9 – Inter. Band & Wind Ensemble Winter Concert in Newhart MPR at 6 PM (5:15 PM closed door rehearsal/warm-up)

• Dec. 10 – Inter. Orch., Adv. Orch. & String Ensemble Winter Concert in Newhart MPR at 6 PM (5:15 PM closed door tuning/rehearsal/warm-up)

• Jan. ?? - Choir Winter Concert in Newhart MPR at 6 PM (5:15 PM closed door tuning/rehearsal/warm-up)

Who?

• All Newhart Student Music Groups! It's a fun celebration of their mid-year work and progress in music. This should be fun and we will perform some amazing music! This is a large portion of the 2nd quarter grade and is a requirement for all students in their music class.

Where?

• We will performing in the MPR at Newhart. All students are required to stay for the entire concert.

Is there an attendance requirement for this concert?

• Yes, this concert is mandatory for all students in the groups listed above. Students will be getting a grade for all concerts, including this one. Sports games or family dinners are not excused absences. Bring your family along!

What will students need to bring or WEAR?

• Students will need to bring their own instruments & music. They will need to arrive in their full concert attire. Whit tux shirts should be buttoned up and tucked in before arriving to school. (Parents, please help with this.) Click here for correct Concert Attire. We will be passing out ties at the concert.

What if I cannot get to school for the concert? (Example: My parents are working and cannot get me to school)

• We will do what it takes to help all students get to your concert but we need a little time to help you. If you think this might be an issue, please talk with your parents ahead of time. If you need a ride, please let your teacher know at least a few days before the concert so we can help you! ALL students deserve to show off their skills and perform!

How do we sign-up to bring treats?

• A sign-up genius will be posted in the weekly modules as we get closer to the concerts. Thanks in advance! We will also be looking for 3-4 adults or former students to help run the treat table which will also be on the sign-up genius.
