REMIND APPLICATION SIGN-UPS & INFORMATiON

We are excited to share that the Newhart M.S. Band & Orchestra program will be using Remind for all music students and their families as a part of field trip communication! If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's music program, especially last minute and current information regarding our field trips and performances. 

In order for students under age 13 to communicate in this app, they must include a parent email as part of their account settings. 

Remind is free to use and you'll be able to get and send messages on any device—even a simple text from your phone without sharing your phone numbers with the teacher.

HOW TO SIGN-UP

• You can join a class or school to receive Remind messages via text, email, or push notification (or any combination of these).

TEXT 

• Join by text:
  Participants text your class code to the Remind number of 81010.

• Join online:
  Visit remind.com/join and enter the class code along with your mobile phone number. You'll get text notifications at the number you enter.

MOBILE APP 

• Download the mobile app for iOS and Android devices and create a new account (or log in if you already have one.) To join a class, tap the + by Classes Joined and join with your class code or search for your class. You'll automatically get app notifications.

EMAIL 

• Join online:
  Visit remind.com/join and enter the class code and your email address.

• Join from your inbox:
  Send a blank email to code@mail.remind.com. (If the class code were @math, for example, you'd send a blank email to math@mail.remind.com.) You'll get a response with more instructions.
