Because of the ongoing impacts of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there are some changes to how GCSE Art and Design will be assessed in 2022.
These changes are for 2022 only.
For GCSE Art and Design: Art, Craft and Design, Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Textile Design, 3D Design and Photography, students will complete Component 1 (Portfolio) only.
This means that students won’t need to start or complete Component 2.

Students will present a personal and meaningful response to the theme of 'My world'. Student will have the opportunity to create a one sustained project showing a variety of the techniques and media and connection to their chosen artist/artists. In preparation students will complete experiments and put together a portfolio of work .

Please revise all of the chapters in your revision books. Please practice long mark questions using PEE and PEA (slides on google class room) - long mark questions can be found on past papers provided by me and in the class text book. Please complete 'A question a day keeps revision at bay' on a daily basis.
