We will have a hybrid model for the competition this year!
ADA Compliance (Webpage Design) - ADA refers to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Websites are required to be accessible to people with disabilities. Your Sponsor can guide you further in this area.
Advisor - See Sponsor.
Campaign (for Logo category) - A unified set of documents that in total promote the Middle School or High School Media and Design Competition. This would include the poster, print item, promotional item, and social media post.
Narrative - This is also referred to as the "Project Summary." The purpose of the narrative/project summary is to provide details about your project to the judges. Use the narrative as a tool to clarify your purpose and give insight behind your project. Narratives should be presented in an orderly fashion with as much detail as possible. Page 3 of the Participation Packet includes all information needed in a Narrative/Project Summary.
Planning Document - This expands on the brief answer provided in question #3 of the project summary/narrative. This could be in the format of a written description, storyboard, or flowchart. The planning document clarifies the process used to create the project. There should be specific and as detailed as possible.
Project Summary - See Narrative.
Pseudocode - According to Wikipedia, "in computer science, pseudocode is a plain language description of the steps in an algorithm or another system. Pseudocode often uses structural conventions of a normal programming language, but is intended for human reading rather than machine reading."
Site map (Web Page category) - The flow chart of how pages of a site branch off from each other.
Sponsor (Participation Packet) - Often referred to as the "Advisor." This person helps and guides the student through the process. This could be a teacher, mentor, or parent.
STL File (3D Design Category) - File that stores 3D information about a model. Judges should've able to access this and manipulate your object virtually.
Storyboard (Digital Movie) - A series of panels or boxes where the student(s) plan with words or sketches the various stages of the project.
