The World Language Department at Cape Fear Academy welcomed to our campus internationally-renowned Spanish performer Crispín d’Olot.
Hailing from León, España, Crispín came to North Carolina as part of the 5th annual North Carolina Quixote Festival. To our great fortune, Crispín agreed to visit our campus and perform exclusively for our students. It was a theatrical, poetic and musical adventure that our students will likely never forget!
Crispín arrived to our campus on the morning of October 21, 2019. He began with two intimate performances in the US for students in AP Spanish Language and Culture. Followed by a short break, he performed for LS students in the McNeil Fine Arts Center. Crispín finished the day with one final performance for US students in Spanish 1-5 during lunch in the Cameron Commons.
Crispín's boundless energy, talent, and passion for the Spanish Golden Age left us all awe-inspired! It was an incredible day for CFA!
