In science this year we'll be covering topics in life science, exploring ecosystems, cells, and the human body. Our field work will take us into the habitats around the middle school as we dive into biology all around us.

In Language Arts students should expect to be reading and writing in a variety of genres. Students are expected to have an independent reading book with them at all times so get those library cards warmed up and ready!

Students will be instructed and assessed on three Habits of Work. These are Respect, Responsibility and Perseverance.

Class contracts are the norms which students and I create together and agree to follow. Each group of students had a chance to draft their own class contract.

- The only food I truly hate is caraway seeds.

- I love hiking and cross country skiing.
