Interest based projects may take the form of exploring a career, learning a new skill, studying a subject or content area, starting a business, creating a tangible product, or some combination of these. Ms. Tarantino will help students take an interest or idea and shape it into a semester-long project plan that aligns with each student’s individual interest, learning style, and goals.
Previous projects have included:
Starting and operating a small business
Learning a language (such as Korean, Mandarin, or ASL)
Writing a book
Exploring careers (medicine, filmmaking, business, and more)
Creating independent films
Designing/building a product or structure
Researching a topic
And more!
