SEL (Social Emotional Learning) refers to the skills and practical knowledge that students need to communicate effectively, interact with peers, resolve conflicts, and manage their emotional responses to stressful situations. Students in all grades at Canyon Rim are explicitly taught lessons in the areas of Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.
