The primary focus of the Canyon High School Library is to provide resources and services to assist Canyon students in achieving their fullest potential:
- By providing relevant and timely resources
- By teaching students how to use and evaluate resources
- By providing curriculum based materials
- By supplying access to technology
- By collaborating with teachers
- By promoting curriculum based reading, as well as reading for pleasure
- By maintaining a relevant and up to date collection of books
- By providing a variety of resources for educational and leisure purposes
- By creating an atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone
