Hello! My name is Erica Stephens and I am a first grade teacher at Cherry Brook Primary School. I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was a five-year-old in kindergarten, and I have never had to question that choice – I absolutely love what I do! I graduated from Westfield State University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a concentration in reading. I returned to Westfield State and received my Master’s in Reading Instruction. I have taught first, second, and third grade, so I have seen where first graders have come from, and where they will be going in future years.
