In Introduction to Theatre students will be introduced to Acting and the Theatre arts. This fast-paced, dynamic class allows students to gain experience in public speaking, creative expression, and collaborative problem solving. Performing subjects include improvisation, drama games, and scene work.
In Theater Arts Exploration students will continue to learn Acting and Technical Theatre including exploring play study, scene work, and aspects of Technical Theatre such as Costume Design, Hair & Makeup, Set Construction, Sound & Lighting, and Prop Making. By the end of this course students will have developed greater self-confidence, empathy, and a strong sense of community with their classmates.
