CanSMOF

CanSMOF is a Not-For Profit corporation, Chartered under Canadian Federal law. 

Our goal is to bring events to Canada that highlight Science Fiction and other related genres. The corporation was chartered in 2005. Founding members were Terry Fong, Eugene Heller, and René Walling.

We concentrate on events where the vast majority (if not all) of labour is provided on a volunteer basis by members of the community, or the event attendees. This helps foster a sense of community, and is a big part of being a fannish event.
