Welcome to the Canjo Drone Safety Course!
Below, you'll find the rules for using the drones in the library, a test to prove that you read them and a video to show you how to fly.
After taking the test, you'll receive an Adam-Approved Drone Flying License!
SAFETY RULES:
Rule 1: Proper Attire:
It is recommended that you wear Safety Goggles, Long sleeved-shirts (or hoodies/jackets), Pants, Closed-toe shoes, and a Hat or Hood.
Rule 2: Surroundings Awareness
Make sure that people around you are aware of you using the drone. Avoid flying near other individuals. If using outside or in a large area, keep the drone within 100 meters or 328 feet as it the maximum distance for optimal control. The Tello is meant to be an indoor-only drone but can be used outdoors in conditions of little to no wind. Steer clear of any wires or cables. Don't ask to use the drones if there are too many people in the vicinity.
Rule 3: Drone Privileges
Do not use a drone while under the influence of any alcoholic or drug-related substances. Ask before touching or using any of the equipment. Ask for assistance if you need any. Inability to follow instructions and rules will revoke your ability to use the equipment.
The above safety measures are recommended by the Tello safety protocol website and the libraries personal rules.
