CAREER EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITIES AT CVMS
As a part of Career Exploration, each student will work with a Career Counselor from MCESC during their Wellness expressive arts rotation. By the time they go on to 9th grade, they will have become familiar with Ohio Means Jobs and have created their virtual "backpack."
Ohio Means Jobs K-12 planner is the self-directed online planning tool to help students with academic and career decision-making. Ohio Means Jobs K-12 planner is available to all students in the State of Ohio, and works in conjunction with colleges, universities, technical schools, and the military for post-secondary research and planning. Students can take a career cluster Inventory, explore careers, and create a career profile and plan. This is a great resource that students will be able to save and access throughout their time at Canfield.
