OFFICE Professional - Plus


Due to continued business growth, C&L Sales & Services P/L seek a suitably experienced, self-motivated, positive office professional who has a great work ethic to match. This person will be working closely with the existing sales team, accountants & other staff in our office, currently located in Carlton NSW.

Broad-ranging responsibilities for this role include: (but are not limited to)

  • Provide admin support to management, team members and workshop staff;

  • Maintain and also creating databases;

  • Have proficient computer skills;

  • Provide a high level clerical, administrative support & services using MYOB/QuickBooks/Reckon/Xero or similar;

  • Have strong skills with MS Office, in particular MS Excel

  • Assisting with the management of stock (stock control);

  • Responding and most importantly, follow up emails, updating systems;

  • Maintain records, systems and databases, record data and file to ensure that all documentation is stored and readily accessed;

  • Maintaining Kanban boards;

  • General administration duties;

  • Creating Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices;

  • Creating, Updating and also maintaining various systems including (but not limited to) Safety & Quality Management Systems;

  • Chasing opportunities and business leads;

  • Record and modify customer information within the company database;

  • Answering incoming calls, taking messages, Liaising with customers, re-directing as needed;


Ideally, you will:

  • Have that certain "plus" that we believe this position needs;

  • Have a strong organization and planning skills;

  • A meticulous attitude for following up and completing tasks;

  • Have good customer service experience;

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, to continually improve and adapt to ongoing business growth and different systems as they may become available;

  • Have excellent computer skills and competency in MS Office applications, in particular, Word & Excel & also the G-Suite range of products;

  • Have experience in maintaining and creating Quality Management Systems;

  • Have great verbal & written skills;

  • Have a mature & professional work ethic;

  • Be a self-starter;

  • Have the right to work within Australia;

Wages will be negotiable and dependent on relevant experience. Training will be provided to the right person but it is expected that you hold most of the experiences as listed above

This position will initially be casual with a view to being permanent within an agreed timeframe

The working hours are generally Monday to Friday 0730 - 1600.

C&L has a flexible approach to work hours and have a give & take attitude

You will be required to sign an employment contract.
