Canby Technology Advisory Council
The Canby Technology Advisory Council is charged with developing solutions, practices, and processes to improve how, when, and why technology is utilized in Canby Classrooms.
Four Council Goals
Develop K-12 Technology Standards
How: provide grade-level task-based standards that align tech use to instructional purpose
Develop Classroom Technology Model
How: research what classroom technology should be now and what it could be in the future
Provide Training and Professional Development
How: develop opportunities to teach what we know and learn more as we go
Build and Evangelize a Unified Technology Vision
How: provide guidance to CSD leadership and board
Guiding Principles
Those closest to the problem need to have the loudest voice
