Grading Scale Note

No grade lower that 50% will be given for students who legitimately attempt to complete the work assigned.

Grading Weight Descriptions

Summative assessments are work like unit tests and projects that summarize students learning for a period of time.

Formative assessments is work that is used to assess where students are at during a unit and measure progress towards standards and goals.

Learning habits are items like showing up for class on time and turning in work on time or participating in class.

Assignment Turn-In Policy

Students should do their best to turn in work in accordance with the teacher's posted due dates. If students need additional time to complete work, they should ask their teacher in advance of the due date. However, students will not be graded down for late work during distance learning.

Students will not be given credit for work turned in after the semester ends.

Attendance Policy

Attendance is one of the most important factors for student success. We understand that attendance will look different during distance learning.

Student will be counted present if they attend class.
Students will be counted present if they participate in two way communicate with their teacher on a given day
If your student is not going to attend class on a given day or for a given period, please call the office to report the absence.

School Building Hours

Monday -Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

The school office is open to the public if you need to see someone in person. Please remember to sign in when you enter and sign out when you leave. Masks or face shields are required. Most teachers are not in the building and are working from home, Office Staff and Administration are here to help you with any issue you have.
