Campus International High School is located in Midtown Cleveland and is a partnership between Cleveland Metro Schools and Cleveland State University. We are proud of our music department as an example of a complete program in which to study the art form of music.

CIHS Music Hosts First Annual Online Young Composer's Recital

CIHS Young Composer to Attend CIM Young Composer Program!

May 1, 2020 CLEVELAND, OH - Dade Fuller been accepted into the Cleveland Institute of Music's Young Composer Program and will be attending classes online where he will work with performers to write and have his music premiered this July!

CIHS Young Composers Submit Work to National and State Festivals!

May 1, 2020 CLEVELAND, OH - Dade Fuller has submitted work to the NAfME Young Composer's Electronic Music Festival entitled "Space Insomnia" as well as the Ohio Music Educator's (OMEA) Creative Events Festival for evaluation entitled "Corona."

Vivian Cox has also submitted work to be evaluated in the OMEA entitled "Adventure" which was written for Clarinet and Piano.

Good luck to these two as their works are evaluated and returned!

CIHS Music Awarded with 2020 SupportMusic Merit Award!

April 4, 2020 CLEVELAND, OH - CIHS's music program has again been notified that our school is a recipient of the NAMM Foundation's SupportMusic Merrit award for 2020! More news on this outstanding accomplishment can be found on the NAMM Foundation Website.

Symphony Orchestra Score SUPERIORS!

May 18, 2019 SANDUSKY, OH - Students in CIHS's Symphony Orchestra performed at the Trills and Thrills Festival at the Church of the Nazarene on Saturday and scored unanimous Superior Ratings. The students performed for festival adjudication for the first time in the school's history and then got to enjoy their scores at Cedar Point Amusement part. Way to go Trailblazers!!!
