Pick two lines from Othello Over use your gestures to force yourself to become comfortable. Force yourself to TOUCH another character, or face away from another character or move away from another character.

Week 4

LEARNING TO: Think about the context and situation your character is in.

WHY: So as performer you understand why your character is feeling or doing what they are doing.

HOW: When you can state something that is having an affect on your character.

MAHI:

Pain. Show where the physical pain is in your body. Give it a 1 out of 10. Your audience needs to be able to see it. Move through numbers 1-10. Hold the story at a high number. Now put context to the pain and create a story that shows this.


Othello

Create a choral peice in groups of 5 or 6 of an introduction to the witches. Select lines from pages 22,23,28,29,68 and 69 they don't need to be in any order, just what you want to use.

Use chorus of movement as well as chorus of voices. REPETITION/CONTRAST AND CANONING needs to be experimented with.
