STATE & REGIONAL OFFICER PREP COURSE
We are thrilled to be hosting the Third Annual TN FFA Alumni State & Regional Officer Prep Course on Saturday, January 31st, in conjunction with the Alumni Convention. Please note that this year you will register your candidates using the same registration link listed above. I have attached a schedule for the prep course below. Spots are limited to one state and one regional officer candidate per chapter. Please register your candidates by January 23rd.
As offered in the past, each candidate, along with one guest, is invited to attend the Alumni & Supporters Banquet and Auction on Friday, January 30th at a discounted rate. The candidate and their guest's ticket will be discounted to $25 each. You will be able to claim those discounted tickets for the banquet in the form linked at the top of this email.
COLLEGIATE CONTESTS & EXPERIENCE
Collegiate Advisors and Students, a separate email will be going out to you all later today with information about this year's Collegiate Contests. We will once again be offering the Collegiate Experience, spearheaded by Scott Bohanon with Tennessee Farmers Cooperative. Please make plans and encourage students to participate in the Second Annual Collegiate Experience. This is a fabulous networking opportunity with industry professionals and interactive tours that will benefit the students greatly! Registration for Collegiate Contests & the Friday Night Banquet is $25. Registration for the Collegiate Experience (Friday & Saturday) is $40 and includes two additional meals and a T-Shirt!
FFA ADVISORS - WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
As we gear up for an extremely refreshed and exciting Alumni Convention, we do ask a few things from you all:
Please share this information with your local Alumni Affiliate, supportive parents or community members, etc. We are making sure we have plenty to offer, and as value-packed as we can make it.
We would LOVE it if your chapter builds, cuts, crafts, or does anything cool, to donate that to the Alumni Auction. I could even be a basket of locally produced items. (We have seen a bidding war over a dozen Ralph's Donuts, so anything is great!) Please remember, if your chapter received auction items from TSC, it is expected that your chapter donates a basket or item to the Alumni Auction in return.
Registration for the Convention, the Prep Course, the Collegiate Contest & Experience, and Award Applications will be going live later this week, so stay tuned for those registration links!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or to anyone serving on the Alumni Council. We would be more than happy to answer any questions or even come speak to you, local Alumni Affiliates. We can't wait to see you all at the Tennessee FFA Alumni Convention!
We can't wait to see you in Nashville!
Best,
