Expectations
Campers will be asked to meet these expectations:
Attend daily. Roll call will be done in the morning.
Dress appropriately. Campers should dress like they would at school. (minus the uniform, of course)
Respect ALL. It’s a big deal to get everyone together. Treat others kindly and how you want to be treated.
Be okay with being HONEST and BRAVE. We are dedicated to creating a safe space for everyone to express themselves and share their truth.
Be prepared. Campers should have a water bottle/container.
Cabins
Campers will have a designated CABIN and CABIN LEADER for the duration of camp. Each cabin is represented by one of the four elements; AIR, FIRE, WATER, and EARTH. Cabins will meet for icebreakers, team building activities, building social emotional skills and compete against other cabins in our daily CABIN CHALLENGES. Cabins will earn points through spirit activities and meeting achievements throughout the week.
Lunch
Lunch will be provided by the school district
If you like you may send students to camp with lunch but we will not reheat lunches.
Choice
Campers will be able to choose an activity room in the afternoon. Activities will include but are limited to sports, Lego Robotics, karaoke, how to draw, Kahoot!, gaming, open mic., talent show, dance, card games, trips. Activities will be announced early on and supplies will be provided in the Camper Survival Kit.
Closing Ceremonies
We hope to end every day on high note with our closing ceremonies. We reserve this time to shout out individuals for making camp awesome.
This summer has been an adventure in planning and it's important that we all do the best with the opportunity that has been given to us.
Thank you for trust and patience as we adapt our program to the needs of our campers and families.
